Aspen Wheeler keeps climbing for Rider with a contact-first bat and big-play versatility
Aspen Wheeler has become a reliable spark for Rider in the 2026 season, following a 2025 MAAC All-Rookie campaign with a .330 average, 32 hits, and 14 RBI in 27 games, plus a reputation for clutch run production and steady infield defense at middle infield/third base[11][10]. She stands out for making tough contact, handling pressure spots, and bringing high-energy, all-around value rather than just flash power; Rider’s own coverage and regional reporting highlight her as a top-10 MAAC hitter early in 2026 and a player with a solid glove, offensive upside, and a competitive edge that fits a team needing dependable, gritty run creation[2][3].
