Special Teams Ace with Elite Kickoff Coverage Intensity
Thomas Helten stands out not for flashy stats, but for his relentless, high-intensity performance on special teams, particularly in kickoff coverage and return units. Playing in all 14 games during the 2022 season and 17 career games total, Helten differentiates himself through a rare combination of physical toughness and tactical discipline that rarely shows up in standard defensive metrics. His journey as a walk-on who earned a starting role on special teams reveals a personality defined by grit, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to team success over individual glory. With no reported injury history and a proven ability to execute under pressure, Helten is an ideal fit for any team seeking a dependable, hard-hitting linebacker who elevates the special teams unit with consistent, game-changing intensity.
