Marion Lukes is Central Michigan’s do-it-all engine — and the Chippewas keep finding ways to use him
In the 2024 season, Marion Lukes was Central Michigan’s most versatile weapon, leading the team with 737 rushing yards and adding 300 receiving yards plus 581 kickoff-return yards for a conference-best 1,618 all-purpose yards; over his CMU career he has piled up 3,988 all-purpose yards, 17 total touchdowns, and three All-MAC honors. He fits best as a high-IQ, high-motor back who can stress defenses as a runner, receiver, and returner — the kind of player who tilts field position and quietly changes games.
