Jake Stebbins is Cornell’s tone-setting linebacker and a proven backfield disruptor
Stebbins stood out in the 2023 season as a high-impact linebacker for Cornell, finishing second on the team with 58 tackles while leading the Big Red in sacks (4.5), and adding 6.5 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles in 10 games.[3] He also flashed big-play production in 2025, including a 13-tackle game with a fumble recovery, which reinforces that he brings range, finishing power, and turnover potential rather than just volume stops.[1] If you want a linebacker who plays with production, edge, and playmaking instincts, he fits the profile well.[3][1]
