Dee Baker brings speed-driven upside to Southern Miss’s backfield
Dee Baker is a **sophomore RB** at Southern Miss with a compact, versatile build and a reputation for **speed and multi-position athleticism** from his prep profile, which makes him an intriguing change-of-pace option in the Golden Eagles’ offense.[1][2][5][6] He is the kind of player worth watching if you want a back who may add burst, perimeter stress, and matchup flexibility; the main question is whether his game translates consistently at the college level, since the available public data is light on proven production and current stat-leader context.
