Big-bodied, defense-first USC forward with NBA experience
Alex Stepheson is a USC-connected forward whose profile is built on size, physicality, and interior defense rather than scoring volume; his listed pro career shows limited NBA production, but he brought NBA-caliber length and rebounding/shot-blocking potential to the frontcourt. He’s the kind of player who can change the tone of a game with effort, rim protection, and toughness, though his value depends on fit because he was never a high-usage offensive option. For a team needing a rugged, defensively oriented big who accepts a role, his strengths are the selling point.
