Joseph Mapson brings size, local pedigree, and upside to St. Thomas’s WR room
In the 2026 season, Joseph Mapson is a freshman wide receiver at St. Thomas (MN) at 6-foot-1 and 208 pounds, coming out of Andover after earning First Team All-District honors as a quarterback and being named to the Minnesota All-Star team and North Metro Offensive Player of the Year list in high school[3][6]. His selling point is versatility and athlete energy: he’s a local playmaker with football IQ, competitive edge, and enough physicality to project as a weapon if St. Thomas wants a receiver who can grow into more than just a route-runner.
