Redshirt freshman edge who brings length, burst and special-teams value to Troy
Green entered Troy as a consensus three-star edge defender, and in 2025 he played in six games while preserving his redshirt, seeing most of his early action on special teams and only one defensive snap in the bowl game. At 6-foot-2 and 258 pounds, he offers a compact, physical frame, plus enough athletic traits to project as a developmental pass-rush piece. He also showed resilience in high school, returning from a senior-year injury to help Central reach the Alabama 7A title game, which adds to his toughness and fit for a deep, competitive roster.
