Devante McKinney brings length, burst, and old-school edge to Prairie View A&M’s defensive front
Devante McKinney is a long, rangy defensive lineman who was described by Prairie View A&M’s staff as having a great first step and high football aptitude, traits that translate well to disruptive edge play. In the available Prairie View A&M roster material, no current 2026 season statistics are listed for him, so the appeal is more projection and fit than box-score production. Why care: he looks like the kind of DL who can win with get-off, leverage, and motor rather than just size, which makes him an intriguing developmental fit if your defense values active, athletic front-line pressure.
