John Ryder brings a low-ERA, high-upside arm to Binghamton’s staff
John Ryder, a sophomore RHP for Binghamton in the 2026 season, stands out more for profile than volume right now: the Bearcats list him at 6-foot-1, 205 pounds, and team/stat pages show no official 2026 season stats yet, while D1Baseball’s team stats have previously shown him with a 0.00 ERA in limited freshman innings[1][3]. That suggests a live arm with early effectiveness rather than a proven workload horse, so he looks like the kind of pitcher who can fit a staff looking for upside, strike-throwing, and development runway[1][3].
