Elite Jackson State Tigerettes Forward with High-Impact Scoring and Resilient Play
Kaylan Hughes, a forward for the Jackson State Tigerettes, stands out for her explosive scoring ability, intense defensive presence, and remarkable resilience after injury setbacks. Unlike typical stats, her differentiator is her relentless intensity and leadership—she guided her high school team to two state titles and consistently elevates team performance in clutch moments. With a career-high 22 points and a personality marked by competitive drive and academic excellence (Skyline Conference Academic Honor Roll), Hughes is a perfect fit for teams seeking a versatile, high-energy forward who thrives under pressure and brings both skill and heart. Her injury history (appeared in only 2 games in 2023-24 due to injury) underscores her grit in returning stronger, making her a reliable, battle-tested asset.
