Sophia Bertorelli brings ace-level poise, strikeout stuff, and big-game competitiveness to Boston College
Bertorelli arrives at Boston College as a high-upside right-hander with proven dominance, highlighted by a resilient comeback from a shoulder injury, a fierce competitive edge, and enough velocity and pitch quality to handle pressure innings. In her final high school season, she went 11-2 with a 1.23 ERA and 122 strikeouts in 74 innings, and BC’s staff says she “wants the ball when the game is on the line.” She fits best as a future impact arm for a team that values strike-throwing toughness, energy, and upside.
