Princeton LB Jon Olofsson: proven tackler, low-frills defensive tone-setter
Olofsson is best known as a physical, inside-linebacker presence who produced 103 tackles in the 2010 season for Princeton, including a team-best 13 in the finale, and he earlier showed strong instincts and disruption at Lincoln Way-East with 227 career tackles, 33 tackles for loss and 20 sacks. Princeton’s roster notes also show he was a 6-1, 235-pound defender with high-end football IQ, captaincy pedigree and academic leadership traits, which suggests a disciplined, reliable fit for a defense that values toughness, production and intelligence over flash.
