Grambling State’s old-school clutch RB with championship chops
Kendrick Shanklin is a proven Grambling State back who was named MVP of the 2001 SWAC Championship Game, a strong signal of big-game temperament and durability under pressure[2][5]. The main appeal is his “winner” profile: physical, decisive, and trusted in high-leverage moments, which is exactly the kind of back who can stabilize a locker room and a run game. Publicly available current 2026 stat data for this player is limited, so the best read is his reputation as a rugged, steady contributor rather than a flashy stat-padding prospect[2].
