Austin Richie brings veteran shot-making and late-game juice to FGCU
Austin Richie is a seasoned, high-IQ guard who has shown he can swing games with timely shooting and composure; in FGCU’s 77-73 win over Eastern Kentucky in the 2021-22 season, he scored 18 points and caught fire late, including a key second-half surge that helped close the game[1][4]. Earlier in his college career, he posted a 2021-22 performance profile built on efficient perimeter scoring, and his background suggests a ready-made fit for teams needing a tough, experienced connector who can space the floor and handle pressure without needing the ball nonstop[1][3].
