Taran Brown brings veteran UC Santa Barbara production with stretch-forward upside
In his UC Santa Barbara seasons, Taran Brown stood out as a versatile forward who could score, rebound, and defend the rim: he averaged 11.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 2012-13, then 7.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 27 assists, and 18 blocks in 19 games in 2013-14, while shooting 45.7% from the field and 34.6% from three[2]. He looks like the kind of player who fits a team needing frontcourt skill, shot-blocking, and spacing rather than a pure post bruiser[2].
