Villanova’s Ball-Hawking DB with NFL-Ready Coverage Skills
Malik Reaves stands out as a rangy, instinctive defensive back who pairs strong coverage ability with physicality at the catch point, finishing his Villanova career with 178 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 13 pass breakups across 43 games. Coaches and scouts highlight his competitive toughness, reliable tackling, and knack for forcing turnovers, making him a high-character fit for programs that value disciplined, turnover‑driven secondaries. While not a stat‑piling star, his consistency, ball awareness, and special‑teams readiness give him real value as a plug‑and‑play DB at the next level.
