Youngstown State’s D.J. Main brings veteran size and trench experience
D.J. Main’s value is the classic offensive-tackle package: at 6-foot-6 and around 315 pounds, he gives Youngstown State a big, seasoned body on the edge, and his 2011 season included 10 starts at right tackle on an offensive line that helped power a school-record 36.2 points per game and 458.6 total yards per game. His differentiator is steadiness, not flash—he’s the kind of lineman who can anchor protection and help a run game breathe, making him a strong fit for teams that want toughness, balance, and dependable line play.
