Duke’s former sharpshooting guard with elite ACC pedigree
Krista Gingrich was a four-year letterwinner at Duke and, in the 2001-02 season, averaged 5.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game while starting for a Blue Devils team that reached the NCAA Final Four. Her calling card was perimeter shooting and versatility—she finished her Duke career with 124 threes and was noted as one of the program’s top all-time shooters from deep. Beyond the box score, she brought big-game credibility, having been a 1999 ACC All-Freshman selection and a key piece of Duke’s championship-era success.
