Marquis Green brings steady safety depth to Mississippi Valley State
Marquis Green is a 5-foot-10, 175-pound safety for Mississippi Valley State who profiles as a compact, experienced defensive back with enough versatility to stay on the field and make plays in space.[2][4] He previously played at Chattanooga, where he saw action in 47 career games and produced both rushing and receiving touchdowns, suggesting athleticism and a team-first background that can translate to special teams or sub-package value.[1] If you want a defender with proven game experience, positional flexibility, and a likely hard-nosed approach, Green is the kind of low-drama, useful piece that can help stabilize a secondary.[1][2]
