Dan Ryan brings veteran size and tackle depth to UConn
In the 2026 season, Dan Ryan is a 6-foot-8, 316-pound redshirt senior tackle for UConn, and the most useful thing about him is obvious: he brings rare length, mature size, and experienced line depth to a team that values stability up front[1]. His listed role suggests he’s in the mix at left tackle, which usually points to trust in his pass-protection frame and his ability to handle power rushers. He’s the kind of fit teams like when they want a big, seasoned, no-drama lineman who can help keep the pocket clean and the run game on schedule[1].
