Lucas Reed brings rare tight-end athleticism and proven Lobos pedigree
Lucas Reed’s profile is built on upside: at New Mexico, he stood out as a long, explosive tight end with strong receiving chops, and his testing profile was elite for the position, including a 9.60 Relative Athletic Score and a top-tier vertical. He also earned freshman All-America recognition, which points to real production and early impact rather than just workout hype. The catch? The available public info is historical and doesn’t confirm a current 2026 role, so treat this as a high-ceiling, pass-game-friendly TE track record rather than a fresh stat-line read.
