Jeff Schmidt, Dayton’s interior anchor with trench toughness
I couldn’t verify a reliable, athlete-specific profile for Dayton Flyers DT Jeff Schmidt from the provided search results, so I can’t responsibly claim current performance, rankings, or stat-based strengths. If this is the correct player, the safest read is that a defensive tackle on a Dayton roster is typically valued for gap control, leverage, and line-of-scrimmage physicality rather than flashy numbers—making him the kind of fit you want if your team needs a sturdy interior presence. If you want, I can do a deeper source check and build a proper scouting-style summary.
