Big-bodied linebacker with proven high-school production and special-teams upside
Mason Tobeck brings a classic linebacker frame at 6-foot-2 and around 225-235 pounds, plus a track record of real tackling volume from Cascade Christian, where he earned Washington Class 1A first-team all-state honors after 100 tackles and 4.0 sacks as a junior. Utah State’s roster and game notes show him in the linebacker mix, but the available public data is mostly from his earlier career, so the clearest read is a physical, downhill defender who could fit a team that values size, effort, and straightforward run support over flashy ball-production.
