Sean Stephenson is Iona’s breakout bat with real All-MAAC juice
In the 2025 season, Stephenson erupted into a centerpiece for Iona, winning MAAC Rookie of the Year and ECAC Rookie of the Year after hitting .341 with 70 hits, 15 doubles, 7 home runs, 39 RBIs, and a .927 OPS across 49 starts at third base. He stands out for left-handed contact, gap power, and run production, plus the kind of consistency that showed up in 22 multi-hit games. In 2026, he was also named Preseason All-MAAC, which tells you evaluators see a hitter who already looks like a lineup-building piece, not just a nice story.
