Scott Walter is a low-usage, high-effort Akron guard with local roots and walk-on grit
In the 2024-25 season, Scott Walter’s value is less about box-score pop and more about depth, reliability, and knowing the Akron program inside out; his career averages have been modest, but he brings the kind of local, former walk-on background that usually translates into toughness, humility, and doing the little things right. At 5-10 and from Akron/St. Vincent-St. Mary, he’s a small guard who fits best as a steady culture piece rather than a volume scorer.
