Ryan Welch brings interior size and experience to New Hampshire’s defensive front
Ryan Welch is a 6-foot-2, 290-pound defensive tackle who fits the classic interior run-stopper mold, with enough proven college experience to project as a dependable body in the trenches rather than a flashy stat-padding defender.[1][3] New Hampshire’s roster bio lists him as a DT, and his size alone suggests his biggest value is anchoring the middle, absorbing blocks, and helping free teammates to make plays—traits that often matter more than box-score production for this position.[3]
