Anita Brown remains one of Akron’s most productive all-time guards
In the 2015-16 season, Anita Brown was Akron’s offensive engine, leading the Zips in scoring at 21.3 points per game while also adding 6.8 rebounds and steady secondary playmaking.[11] Her differentiators were volume scoring, toughness on the glass for a guard, and proven reliability—she scored in double figures in 36 straight games and hit 20-plus points in 20 of those outings.[11] Over her Akron career, she finished with 1,568 points, 641 rebounds, and 239 assists, giving any team a rare combo of scorer, rebounder, and veteran presence.[1][4]
