Michael Byrd brings veteran DB instincts and playmaking to Southern Utah
Michael Byrd is a seasoned defensive back whose value shows up in timely ball production and reliability on the back end: Southern Utah lists him as a reserve safety and special-teams contributor who intercepted a pass at Montana to help seal a win, and ESPN’s career log shows a 2014 interception for 6 yards.[4][2] He looks like a fit for teams that want a disciplined, experience-driven defender with proven clutch instincts rather than flashy volume stats.[4][2]
