Teagan McCue brings gap-to-gap pop, speed and infield reliability to Northwestern
McCue enters Northwestern as a high-upside first-year infielder whose best traits are table-setting offense, disruptive speed and a winning pedigree. In her senior season at Bishop McNamara, she hit .579 with 15 doubles, five homers and 22 stolen bases, and in 2025 she was a .458 hitter with 55 hits, 22 steals and just two errors in 98 chances at shortstop. That blend of bat-to-ball skills, range and dependable defense makes her a strong fit for a team that values pressure, consistency and versatility.
