Nathan Mueller’s power arm earned a pro deal after a punchy 2026 Islander season
In the 2026 season, Nathan Mueller gave Texas A&M-Corpus Christi a big-bodied, hard-throwing righty who worked 29.1 innings over 20 appearances and five starts, striking out 29 while showing the kind of strikeout-to-walk profile scouts love from a late-inning arm.[2][3][5] At 6'6" and 215 pounds, he brings obvious downhill leverage and, according to summer-ball reporting, touched 97 mph while punching out 14 hitters against just three walks in 9.2 innings for Victoria; that power ceiling helped him sign with the Brewers as an undrafted free agent.[5]
