Casey Santoro brings veteran lead-guard play and winning pedigree to Youngstown State
Santoro is a sixth-year point guard who has been a steady two-way engine for Youngstown State, leading the Penguins in scoring, assists and minutes while giving them an experienced, winning voice on the floor. In the 2025-26 season, she’s been producing as YSU’s top scorer at about 12.6 points per game and continues to impact games with playmaking, rebounding and late-game poise. Her differentiators are experience, leadership and a track record of efficient guard play across five Division I seasons, including a rare triple-double earlier in her career.
