Army’s steady senior leg, Trey Gronotte, brings reliable range and clutch poise
In the 2024 season, Trey Gronotte emerged as Army’s primary kicker for the first time and delivered a standout year, including a career-high three field goals against UTSA and a perfect 54-for-54 on extra points in his final season, setting an Army team record. He also showed dependable range with multiple field goals in pressure spots, including a 39-yarder in the Army-Navy game and a 32-yarder while remaining perfect on kicks early in the season. The big differentiator: veteran calm, consistency, and special-teams reliability—exactly the kind of low-drama, high-trust fit coaches love.
