UNC defensive back prospect with Tar Heel pedigree
Mahlon Carey is listed as a **North Carolina Tar Heels defensive back/strong safety**, but the available public sources here are thin on recent on-field production, so his current value is harder to judge from stats alone. What stands out is the UNC tie and his long-running association with the program, which suggests familiarity with the environment and the demands of ACC football; however, I do not have reliable, current performance data, rankings, or injury information in the provided results to support a stronger scouting read.
