Tone-Setting Safety with Proven Production and Versatility
Tre Jenkins has been a reliable, physical presence for San Jose State, and in the 2023 season he logged 7 games with 26 solo tackles, 15 assists, 2 pass breakups, and 1 interception. He’s a strong fit for teams that value a safety who can play down in the box, handle heavy run support, and still cover across multiple alignments; evaluators have described him as a tone-setting defender with intensity, physicality, and special-teams-friendly toughness. The main question isn’t effort — it’s usage, because his value spikes when a staff lets him attack downhill and play with aggression.
