steady Texas State guard with proven all-district scoring chops
Brian Herring’s Texas State profile points to a tough, experienced guard who earned first-team all-district honors in high school, averaged 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists as a senior, and was also named Academic All-District twice[1]. That combination suggests a player who can score, rebound from the guard spot, and brings a coach-friendly blend of discipline and competitiveness. He looks like the kind of glue-guy fit teams love: smart, dependable, and unlikely to need the ball to make a positive impact[1].
