Lengthy, ball-hawking Toledo DB with proven production
In the 2009 season, Kenny Veal played in 11 games for Toledo, started four, and finished with 14 tackles and one interception, while his career Rocket line shows 38 total tackles and two interceptions across 22 games. He was also ranked as the No. 30 cornerback in the nation by ESPN in his recruiting class, which points to a strong early ceiling and legitimate coverage upside. The quick-read on Veal: he brings length, experience, and a knack for plays on the ball—useful traits for any secondary that wants a disciplined, opportunistic defender.
