Notre Dame’s steady, old-school center with leadership chops
John Crowther is best known as a hard-nosed, trusted interior presence for Notre Dame, with official team coverage noting him as a captain in games and a scholarship winner who paired football with elite academics. His differentiator isn’t flashy box-score production; it’s reliability, intelligence, and the kind of leadership coaches lean on when the playbook gets thick and the game gets ugly. For a team needing a steady, disciplined center who brings maturity and accountability, he fits the mold.
