Fred McCaskill brings old-school safety toughness and versatility to Bethune-Cookman
Fred McCaskill is a defensive back/safety for Bethune-Cookman with a long track record in the program, including being listed as a senior on the 2009 roster and appearing in game logs as both a defensive contributor and situational playmaker. Reliable public stats in the available materials are limited, but the consistent takeaway is that he’s a physical, assignment-sound defender who earned trust in multiple roles and showed enough versatility to stay on the field. If a team wants a hard-nosed, experienced back-end presence rather than a flashy stat-sheet hunter, McCaskill fits the bill.
