Veteran Maryland DL with proven disruption upside
Jefferson is a seasoned, versatile defensive lineman whose value comes from steady production and positional flexibility: at Maryland, he started all 12 games and led the linemen with 39 tackles while ranking second on the team in sacks (6.5) and third in tackles for loss (12.5), and his pro résumé includes 28.5 career sacks. He’s the kind of player teams like for reliable effort, power, and inside-out pass-rush juice rather than flash, making him a solid fit for a defense that wants a dependable, experienced front-line piece.
