Richard McCollum is a reliable, record-chasing weapon for Western Carolina
In the 2023 season, Richard McCollum was a standout all-around kicker for Western Carolina, leading the team with 78 points and finishing as the NCAA FCS field-goal percentage leader by going a perfect 12-for-12 on field goals, while also handling kickoffs at 49.4 yards per boot.[2] He’s the kind of specialist every coach wants: steady under pressure, productive from distance, and historically durable, with an AP All-America nod, the SoCon’s top special-teams honor, and a school-record streak of 85 straight made PATs.[11][12][10] If your team wants a dependable points machine with proven big-game composure, McCollum fits the bill.
