Colorado State DB Adam Lancisero: a former walk-on who turned into a takeaway machine
Adam Lancisero’s profile is built on production and toughness: Colorado State lists him as a defensive back, and his résumé includes 34 solo tackles, 3 forced fumbles, 1 interception, and 1 pass breakup in the available career stats. He also earned All-Mountain West honors in 2004, and CSU noted he was a former walk-on who had to move back to linebacker late that season because of injuries, which says a lot about his versatility and grit. If you want a physical, adaptable defender who plays with edge, he’s the kind of player that earns respect fast.
