Deaunte Mason is a dual-threat game manager with big-play juice and veteran poise
Deaunte Mason’s profile shows a quarterback who can beat defenses both from the pocket and on the move, with historical Alabama A&M coverage noting his leadership, rushing ability when plays break down, and efficient passing production. In the 2012 season, he was described as the SWAC’s leading passer and had a knack for protecting the football, which makes him the kind of QB who can stabilize an offense while still creating explosive moments. If you want a composed, mobile quarterback who can extend drives and keep defenses honest, Mason checks a lot of boxes.
