Coastal Carolina’s Emerging Center with Untapped Potential
Bryant Wallace, the 6'9" center for Coastal Carolina, is a raw but promising talent whose **physicality** and **defensive intensity** stand out in the Sun Belt, though he’s still developing consistency in shooting and ball-handling. While the Chanticleers finished 10–22 in 2024–25 and are currently 4–3 in 2025–26, Wallace has shown flashes of being a **differentiator** in the paint with his ability to **draw fouls** and **alter shots**, even if he hasn’t yet become a stat leader. No major injury history is reported, and his **high-energy personality** makes him a locker-room asset. For teams seeking a **developmental project** with **high upside** in the middle, Wallace is a fit—but expect a **learning curve** before he becomes a primary option.
