a seasoned Nevada DB with proven ball production
Jaden Sawyer’s Nevada profile points to a tough, experienced defensive back who showed real playmaking in the 2016 season, when he posted 49 tackles, a team-high 8 pass deflections, and 2 interceptions. Across his Nevada career, he logged 100 tackles, 11 pass breakups, 3 interceptions, and 7 tackles for loss, which says “active in the run fit and sticky in coverage” in the same breath. He also earned academic honors, a nice marker of reliability and discipline. If you want a DB who brings veteran instincts, physicality, and some sneaky ball skills, he’s a strong fit.
