Monroe Watson brings size and versatility to FAMU’s secondary
Monroe Watson is a long, physical defensive back for Florida A&M, listed at 6-2 and 205 pounds in the program’s roster, with earlier FAMU listings showing him as a multi-year defensive back from Los Angeles and LA Southwest College[2][3]. ESPN identifies him as a Rattlers DB and tracks his 2026 game log, but the readily available public stat lines are thin, so the better read is his profile: a bigger-bodied DB with rare length and press-friendly traits that can translate well in matchups against larger receivers[1][4][5]. If a team wants a defensive back who looks built to jam, tackle, and hold up in the run game, Watson is the kind of fit that pops on tape even before the box score does[2][4].
