Ryan Prettol brings a big-bodied right-hander’s upside to HCU
Prettol is a 6'4" right-handed pitcher whose profile points to a relief-heavy arm with strikeout ability and some developmental upside; in 2025 at Skyline College he logged eight appearances, six scoreless outings, and eight strikeouts in seven innings, after redshirting at Sacramento State and appearing briefly at College of San Mateo. He looks like a fit for a staff that values pitchability, recent bullpen effectiveness, and projection over pure finished-product polish—worth watching if your team wants a deep, competitive arm with room to grow.
