Jahmel McIntosh brings Vanderbilt a safety-minded, defensive-back pedigree
McIntosh is listed as a **safety/defensive back** for Vanderbilt, with recruiting profiles identifying him as a Mississippi product who signed with the Commodores in 2011. Reliable public sources in the search results do not provide recent season stats, so his value is best judged as a defensive depth piece with the kind of back-end versatility Vanderbilt recruited him for: coverage range, tackling support, and secondary flexibility. If you want a defender whose profile is built on positional fit and experience rather than headline-grabbing numbers, McIntosh is the type of athlete who can quietly strengthen a roster.
