Antwann McCray brings a versatile, physical edge to Gardner-Webb's defense
McCray is a **versatile linebacker** with a compact build and a history of producing in multiple phases, which makes him more than a box-score player. He first arrived at Gardner-Webb as a walk-on outside linebacker and has since shown the kind of toughness and adaptability coaches love, while his high school résumé included **44 tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss, and two interceptions** as a senior. For a team, that points to a disciplined, hard-nosed defender who can help in run support, coverage, and special teams.
