Forrest Lietz is Davidson’s hot-hitting two-way spark plug
In the 2026 season, Forrest Lietz has been one of Davidson’s most dangerous bats, hitting .510 with a .576 on-base percentage and a 1.223 OPS early in Atlantic 10 play, while also ranking fifth nationally in batting average at one point. He’s a left-handed hitter and thrower with real contact skills, gap power, and the kind of clutch production that shows up in big moments; his background as a two-way player adds value, though his season pitching usage has been limited. If you want a versatile, competitive lefty who can impact the lineup right away, he’s a strong fit.
